Un duo funky, MASOMENOS este reusitul parteneriat dintre Joan Costes, grafic designer si DJ, si Adrien de Maublanc, producator si inginer de sunet. Cei doi au pus bazele unui proiect curajos, "Welcome to Masomenos", un sistem audio-video pe care il folosesc pentru a-si contura propriul univers, spontan, psyhadelic si fara limte. Este vorba de locul ce gazduieste o multime de animale rautacioase si multi-colore si alte personaje la fel de traznite. Este micul lor butic avantgardist roz, situat la Masomenos, pe strada Mont-Thabor nr 34, Paris. Imposibil de ratat.

Pe langa multe initiative pline de umor si culoare, planeta Masomenos va gravita mereu in jurul propriului sau Soare : muzica. Pentru ca muzica este pasiunea ce i-a unit pe cei doi visatori, muzica este pentru ei sursa, motivul si motorul ce pune in miscare tot restul peisajului. Inspiratia lor a prins viata in momentul in care s-au delectat cu compilatia vesela si luminoasa "Bon Voyage" (2007), apoi "Plouf EP", discul scos de Sister Phunk in ianuarie, si "Belly Dance", o amuzanta oda adusa dansului din buric. In anul 2008 au pus bazele "Masomenos Livemix Project", compus din 8 ep-uri. In acelasi an, au lansat un album, mai precis un mix live al celor 24 de releasuri antrioare, printre care colaborari cu Chris Carrier sau Kreon si Lemos. In ultima vreme, Masomenos au lucrat la remixuri pentru Berovic si Leicher ( pe International Freakshow), si pentru Soul Clap (pe Airdrop). Un nou proiect muzical este pe drum, insa nimic nu va fi dezvaluit inainte de 2009.

The so funky duo Masomenos, is a productiv partnership between Joan Costes, a graphic designer and DJ, and Adrien de Maublanc, a producer and sound engineer. They both clearly have a ball with Welcome to Masomenos' an audio-visual system they use to produce their spontaneous, light-hearted, psychedelic, no-limits universe. It is a place where their "Friends", a mischievous and multi-coloured bunch of animals that appeal to children have chosen to set up home with lots of other crazy characters in their outrageous, souk-style, flashy fuchsia-coloured shop that is simply unmissable, located at Masomenos, 34 rue du Mont-Thabor, Paris 1. During hugely funny and inevitably brightly coloured initiatives, the planet of Masomenos never ceases to revolve around, you will have guessed, its own very special sun - music. Because it is music and music alone, a passion shared by these two lovebirds, that is the source, the reason, the vehicle, the springboard from which everything else follows, because our original source of inspiration - our ears have therefore been able to enjoy the delights of Bon Voyage(2007), a bright and sunny compilation that is a cross between a mix and a bootleg; Plouf Ep, a disc released by Sister Phunk in January; Belly Dance, an hilarious ode to bellydancing. In 2008, they've achieved theire Masomenos Livemix Project, which constist in 8 Eps and an live mixed album made out with the 24th tracks from the single releases, that include some collaboration with Chris Carrier, or Kreon & Lemos. Lately Masomenos have been working on some remixes for Berovic & Leicher (on International freakshow) and for Soul Clap (On Airdrop). A new musical project is now on the way, but nothing should be revealed before 2009
